Meet Dr. Emily Cassis
Dr. Emily Cassis is committed to providing excellent patient care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Cassis appreciates the importance and value of a beautiful, confidant smile. That is why she is continuously attending the latest educational courses to ensure her patients receive state of the art dental care. She completed training from the Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botulinum Toxin (BOTOX). This knowledge allows Dr. Cassis to perform esthetic and cosmetic procedures in a comfortable and convenient dental setting. Dr. Cassis received training in CEREC, the latest technology in digital dentistry. She has also completed training with Dr. Dennis Wells in Microthin/Durathin Veneers, offering patient conservative smile transformations. Emily loves treating children and strives to provide wonderful dental experiences starting at a very young age.
Dr. Emily is originally from Winnsboro, Louisiana. Dental genes run strong in her family. Her father and grandfather have combined to practice dentistry for over 100 years. Dr. Cassis graduated Valedictorian from Franklin Academy before attending the University of New Orleans, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Cassis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is currently serving at the Vice President of the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association.
She married her dental school classmate, Dr. Daniel Cassis. He is an endodontist practicing in West Monroe. They have three children, Grant, Eva Charlotte, and Charlie. Her hobbies include playing tennis, running, traveling, hunting ( she especially loves alligator hunting), Saints football, and cooking. Dr Cassis is an active member of North Monroe Baptist Church and she is a member of the Monroe Junior Garden Club.
